Keep up to date with all the news happening in school at the moment.
Have a look a these pictures of Year 6 enjoying themselves at the ice rink in Peterborough yesterday and on a visit in Derbyshire today.
We have all had a fantastic first day. Group 1 did crate stacking and low ropes, group 2 did low ropes and stand up paddle boarding, group 3 did paddle boarding and canoeing and group 4 did canoeing and rock climbing.
We are all now enjoying some time playing outside, before we head inside for shower and bed time.
All children are well and having fun...it has been a long day already for the adults and we can not wait for bedtime.
Children in Early Phase enjoyed sharing their favourite Christmas songs with their parents.
Children in Reception enjoyed performing their Nativity 'A Recipe for Christmas' to their parents on 7th December. The video recording will be available on the Video Resource Centre soon.
Dear Parents
I hope you have had a lovely summer break and have been able to make the most of the fantastic weather we have seen - well up until this week anyway!
As the return to school is now fast approaching, I know that you may be be feeling anxious as to what this will look like for your child. We have been working during the holidays to arrange classrooms and put in place additional measures in line with a full risk assessment. I am confident that we have made the return to school as safe as we can in the circumstances. The rate of infection is still very low in North Norfolk and therefore we believe that a successful and a safe return to school can be achieved.
In the run-up to the last few days of the holiday, I will be sending you detailed information of the measures we have put in place and our expectations for pupils and parents to ensure we are all working together in everyone's best interests. I will also enclose a few photographs of areas of the school so you can show and discuss them with your child.
I haven't sent this information before now, as I wanted to ensure I was giving you the most up to date information (we have seen a number of very sudden changes to government guidance!)
We are fully committed to re-starting our Breakfast (7.45-8.45a.m.) and After School (3.00 - 5.00p.m.) Care to support working parents from Monday 14th September. A booking form and further information as to how this has been arranged in line with Covid-19 measures will be sent out out by the start of term.
Every member of staff is looking forward to welcoming all our children back to school on Monday 7th September, for what we are sure will continue to be a rich and enjoyable learning experience.
Yours sincerely
Jan Harazdiuk
