Feedback can take many forms and may not always mean extensive written comments for individual children. For example, whole-class feedback or quizzes marked automatically via digital platforms are also valid and effective methods, amongst many others. Our approach to feeding back on pupil work is as follows:

• Generic class comments posted on the Class Stream via Google Classrooms
• Individual comments posted by the child and/or parents on how well they achieved the task (This will be via Google Classroom for Years 1-6 and within Tapestry for Reception)
• Individual comments from the class teacher posted on pieces of submitted work, with advice of how to address misconceptions and improve work further (This will be via Google Classroom for Years 1-6 and within Tapestry for Reception)
• Numerical score given to tasks if appropriate
• Quizzes - automatic marking via digital platform
• Peer assessment via Zoom meetings or Gallery displays of work on Class Page of School website
• Self assessment through providing answers/solutions for children to self-mark

Teachers will keep records of individual pupil achievement and completion of tasks mapped against key performance indicators or learning objectives.

Teachers will outline what they expect to be submitted and how this will be assessed within the instructions given for learning tasks.

Submitted work will be checked daily and comments made that day if possible.

Pupil performance and engagement tracking sheets will be completed weekly.

Teachers will monitor activities assigned on Active Learn, Timetables Rockstars and Diagnostic Questions and re-allocated when required.
