Welcome to Maple Class!

 

Maple Class is a Year 2 class with teachers Ms Lanchbury and Mrs Monsey, and TA Miss Hardie,

 

This term, we are learning all about the Great Fire of London in our History and Geography topic, Fire Fire!
We will be finding out all about what happened during the fire which took place in 1666. We will be reading stories about London and England at the time of the fire, the experiences of people who experienced the fire, including Samuel Pepys, who wrote his famous diary in this period of history.

We will be creating art work linked to this theme, including models of timber framed houses.

 

In our Science lessons, we will be learning all about Animals including Humans, finding out about different ways to classify animals, and also about humans and how we use our senses.

 

We will be having PE lessons with Pav this half term.
