Maple Class 2023-24

Welcome to Maple Class!

 

 

Welcome back to Maple Class and we are now beginning the Summer term!

 

Maple Class is a Year 2 class with teachers Ms Lanchbury and Mrs Monsey, and TA Miss Hardie,

 

This term, we are learning all about Map work and our local area in our Geography and History lessons in our topic, Love Where We Live.

 

In Art we will be finding out about the British Artist, William Morris, and learning more about his unique style of art and pattern making.

 

In our Science lessons, we will be learning all about Plants and Trees, including what they need to survive. We will also be learning to identify different types of British trees.

 

We will be having PE lessons outside this term on THURSDAYS, so please dress your child accordingly.

When it warm, shorts are strongly advised.

Earrings should be taken out or tape provided to cover ears. 

Suncream should be worn to school as parents and carers decide.

 

We look forward to seeing  you soon.
