The Windmill Hub
At Millfield Primary School we value a holistic approach to looking after our learners, from time to time, our children will experience issues that mean that the school makes some additional provision for them, or put in place measures to ensure their continued safety and wellbeing. We do this through allocating key members of staff to attend a 'hub' meeting each week.
The Windmill Hub consists of the following professionals who are all working together to provide consistent and inclusive support for all children and families-
Mr David Sheehan ( Headteacher & DSL)
Mrs J Ashby ( Deputy Head & DSL)
Mrs H Halls ( Well-Being Mentor)
The Windmill Hub meets weekly to discuss the following-

We believe that by setting up a hub of staff with responsibility for vulnerable groups within the school, we can further enhance the level of support for those pupils as well as influence wider practice for the benefit of all pupils, staff and parents.
