Pupil Development Team - How we can support your child...
Pupil Development Team - Mrs Halls and Mrs Herd provide individual/group sessions for children who have been referred by the teacher or the parent/carer. We always seek parental consent before any sessions take place. The sessions are confidential.
The team is available to support during transition times, whether this is moving to a new class, changing teachers, joining from preschool, nursery or another school, lunchtimes and play times. They are there to provide support to parents and children and complete ‘check-ins’ to ensure children are happy and settling in well.
The school offers pastoral interventions such as: Forest School, Art Therapy, Lego Therapy, Draw and Talk Therapy, Playground support, Friendship groups, In class support, ‘Time to Talk’ Sessions and ‘That’s Me’ group sessions.
