Awards
School Council Project for 2010-2011
School Council have decided to focus on a major project this year - 'Improving The School Toilets'. Just before Christmas, the children organised a competition to design a mural for the toilet walls. There were many entries and these were shortlisted down to 12 entries and then 4 winners were picked during an assembly. The winners were Lauren, Lucy, Keeley and Leon.
School Council are currently arranging for art students from Paston to help our winners paint the final designs on the walls. They are also hoping to involve parents in painting a base colour on the toilet walls too!
To finance their plans for refurbishing the toilets, School Council will be raising money by hosting a fun run in March and they have organised for teaching assistants to come to school dressed as children and take part in lessons. Details of both these events will follow shortly.
